About VNV Nation

VNV Nation, which stands for Victory Not Vengeance, is an electronic music group from London that combines elements of electronic body music (EBM), Industrial music and synthpop into what they call futurepop. The members are Ronan Harris and Mark Jackson.

In 1990, Ronan Harris moved from Dublin, Ireland to London, England and formed VNV Nation. In the same year, he releases two 12" vinyl singles: Body Pulse and Strength of Youth. In late 1990, Ronan Harris moves to Toronto, Canada. Between 1990 and 1993, Harris continues to work on VNV Nation's material while touring with Nitzer Ebb. Finally, in 1994, Ronan Harris moved back to Europe where soon met up with Mark Jackson, who joined VNV Nation as the drummer for live shows.

Since then, VNV Nation has released several other albums, and is still comprised of the same two members since 1994.

Ronan Harris currently lives in Hamburg, Germany, where he is working on more material for the band.
